Introduction
World War II began on September 3, 1939, when France and Britain declared war on Adolf Hitler in Germany. Many people consider Hitler to be a significant factor in World War II. In addition, several other factors and causes led to this war. So my argument is that although Hitler played a humorous role in starting World War II, there were still other causes for this war. This article will highlight these causes; describe their relationship and overall consequences.
Designed to end the First World War officially, the Treaty of Versailles provoked much controversy in Germany. The agreement was signed in Paris during a peace conference. The agreement was signed by several different delegates from Britain, France, and the United States.
Most of the clauses in the treaty were considered by many Germans to be racist. Some of the treaty terms stated that; Accepting criticism from Germany for being the founder of the First World War; paying a hefty fine; significant arms reduction; taking German land and transferring it to other countries. These words made the Germans unhappy, and they began to prepare for any further retaliation in Britain, France, and the United States. So when the opportunity arose for another world war, Germany eagerly withdrew.
Another cause of World War II was a lack of comfort. To appease usually means to yield to one’s wishes when stated needs are reasonable. After drafting the Versailles treaty, which included disarmament, some politicians began to admit that the borders imposed on Germany were wrong. Therefore, when Germany started to reorganize itself in 1934, there was much tolerance for major world powers.
They asserted that the nation had a fundamental right to self-defense by promoting its weapons. They also said that an increase in strength in Germany would prevent the spread of communism in other parts of Europe, especially in the West. That obedience to German demands could help prevent another war. The Treaty of Munich provides an example of the relief that a portion of the land taken from Germany was to be returned. However, Germany violated the terms of the treaty by invading Czechoslovakia, and as a result, the war broke out.
Another factor that can be attributed to World War II was the failure of the League of Nations. This was founded in 1919 and was responsible for maintaining world peace. All the world nations would be a part of this union, and disputes between the member states would be resolved and negotiated by its governing body. However, the League of Nations failed at the end of World War II because it could not convince the warring nations to resolve their differences peacefully without war.
In addition to the effects of World War II, Adolph Hitler’s actions have a profound impact on the war. Hitler had a vision of world domination, which led him to build a large army and army. He violated almost every international treaty on peace and independence and invaded other European countries. He also ordered the extermination of Jews throughout Europe.
This ambiguity led countries like France, Britain, and the United States to unite to block him. So this was another factor that led to the outbreak of World War II. Thus, from the preceding discussion, it is clear that besides Adolph Hitler’s heinous deeds, various other factors led to the Cold War, which left much to be desired.
CONCLUSION
No doubt, the world war destroyed many countries badly and may cause harm for the poor citizens, but at the same time, these world wars were essential to get freedom from being a colony of any other rich country.
