With the advent of technology, more and more robots are being used in various fields, especially in some areas that are dangerous to humans. Many people are convinced that robots will replace humans in the future.
On the other hand, some people are at odds with the idea that robots cannot perform the many tasks that humans do today because robots are constantly performing the same function and cannot think. I agree that robots cannot take the place of humans.
This issue needs to be addressed further, and my views will be further strengthened in the following discussions. As we know, robots have many advantages over humans in many respects. Many people Farhad Manijo, who wrote the article “Will Robots Steal Your Work?”, Say that robots tend to take human form. Robots can perform tasks independently, which is good for the company to reduce costs. Also, robots will never ask for health or retirement benefits, so renting a robot is more expensive than hiring someone.
Robots can learn something quickly because they depend on the software.
Compared to robots, humans need more time to acquire specific skills. For example, in the future, robot advocates may be able to perform tasks quickly and easily; on the contrary, people should take more than three years of law school, but they may not do better than robots. It seems to confirm that because robots have more human capabilities, they will perform more tasks than humans in the future. However, robots have not yet evolved enough to deal with the natural world in many complex applications. Even though robots can perform some tasks better than humans, those tasks are duplicated and straightforward. Robots have no thinking ability.
For example, a well-known car company, Toyota, has embraced the revolution and changed robots for years. However, they have strong evidence that hiring people can reduce waste on crankshaft production by 10%, which also helped shorten the production line. As we know, robots do the same thing all the time, but automakers need more skilled workers who can comprehend the entire production line. People understand process design and can provide all the processes of a car, which robots cannot do. In dealing with complex tasks, robots are very limited in performing tasks.
In conclusion, I think robots will not replace humans in the future. Many jobs in the world, such as teaching, depend on one’s knowledge. It is difficult for robots to make decisions. Humans have many abilities that are not limited to just a few places.
