ADULT LITERACY DRIVE

In the olden days, we did not have a balanced and organized system of education. It was meant only for a few. So most of the citizens were illiterate. We were ruled by the Britishers. There was a very slow healthy step and thought that education should reach all without considering his age. It should be healthy steps and thought that education should reach all without considering his age. It should be free and for all. More schools and colleges have been set up. For old people, adult centers are in progress. In these centers, adult and old sit together and get an education so that they may have a better understanding of everything. Without education, we are like tailless animals. It makes us wise and develops our reasoning faculties. The government has launched a campaign of ‘Each One Teach One’ on a war level. During the summer, all the teachers and the students teach the adults. The government and other social organizations are doing a lot in this respect. The state of Kerala has 100% literacy. Other states are also heading to get this goal.
