A WEEKLY BAZAAR IN MY NEIGHBOURHOOD

Weekly bazaars are gradually becoming very popular in big cities, The Mangal/Tuesday Bazaar’ is organized every week in our neighborhood. It provides a festive atmosphere where we can purchase all varieties of items ranging from a needle to jeweler from the concerned stalls. The prices of the items are quite low and reasonable in the weekly markets. There is ample scope of bargaining. Small household articles can be picked up at one place. These markets are very popular with housewives. The weekly markets have their nuisance value also. Sub-standard and rejected items are sold most often. They block traffic. Even some harmful gods are sold there. The people living near these markets complain of noise, robberies, and garbage. Despite the problems, these markets have come to stay.
