Vowels and Consonants for Class 2

In the English language, there are 26 English alphabets. They can be written in capital letters and small letters.

1. Vowels

Vowels are the letters that produce long sounds. There are five vowels that are: a, e, i, o, u.

2. Consonants

Consonants are letters that do not have any long sound. There are twenty-one in alphabets (b, c, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, p, q, r, s, t, v, w, x, y, z)
