Pronouns for Class 2

Pronouns are words that are used in place of nouns.

I, she, it, they, he, and they are pronouns.

Examples:

1. Rohan is my brother.
   He is a good boy.
2. This is a dog.
   It is a pet animal.
3. Riya sings a song.
   She is a singer.
4. Rahul and Trisha are friends.
   They play together.
5. Naina is Prisha’s best friend.
   Naina is her best friend.

In the above sentences, nouns are replaced by he, It, she, they, and her are pronouns.
