Narrative Essay on High school

Introduction

High school life is probably the happiest time of our lives. Many consider their college lives to be the best, however, my high school is better because it has greater fun and less workload. It marks the time when we’ve just shed our baby skins and we’re entering our bodies. We’re young adults now. Our bodies are going via a chain of changes. Boys are remodeling into young men, while girls are blooming into beautiful young women. At this point, we’re mature enough to understand our hobbies, our passions, and everything else we need to know about ourselves.

Our parents loosen their grips a bit on the regulations and we, therefore, test a lot during this period. And when we discover ourselves in hot water, everyone will always come to our useful resource and proclaim, “But, they’re just teenagers. Don’t worry, everyone goes via this segment. They’ll soon grow up.” So, we get away with a lot throughout this period.

There are too many memorable moments to recall. I met my best friends in high school and we still keep in touch so far. We’d go to all forms of events, graduation events, themed parties, homecoming parties, and house parties. Due to the fact we knew each other very well, the events were not chaotic. The only challenge we had was the host’s parents showing up before the party was over.

Another amusing thing we did with my friends was wearing the identical costume during Halloween. We had planned for the best outfit and just blow everyone away at the high school Halloween’s party. During the boring calculus lessons, we’d pass folded notes on all the latest gossip news in school. We would be laughing through all boring lessons, without a care of what was being taught.

Sporting activities were the highlights of high school life. Everything came to a standstill when a sporting action was to take place in our school. Everybody, including parents, instructors, students, and friends would show up to cheer our sports teams. The shouts, the cheers, the jeers, the sighs, and all the noise you can think of are all brought into one place.

Therefore that high school life is the most formative period of someone’s life. The concept of life turns clear here and the students get a glimpse of how the real world works. Just like in real life, high school life may be grouped into the fun side and working/studying side with a grey area in between, for activities along with interests and hobbies.

It is a fun period in life due to the fact teenagers have no sense of responsibility other than studying. They’ve all the time in the world to have fun. They begin with making small groups with other like-minded individuals. Geeks form their reading clubs, musicians form bands, athletes build teams, actors hone their crafts in theatre clubs, and journalists are busy running the school magazine, and so on.

With lots of different people in the same facility, there’s bound to be rivalry and competition. The competition can be healthy like in a classroom setting. It may also be dangerous when students try to cheat their way into college. These competitions facilitate the formation of allies and rivals.

The allies come to the aid of their comrades and they’re capable of warding off threats. Opponents are the competitors, who will try to take away anything from you, for example, your reputation, your girlfriend, or even your lunch money. Teens examine at this stage that not everything goes as they assume them to. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose. This is how life is. When they are dealt a heavy blow, they need to get up and move on. There is always another day to fight.

This is the time people become acquainted with the concept of love. Teens show the courage of approaching girls they like, while girls get first-hand experience of getting boyfriends. Most people get their first love in high school. They get to experience how sweet love is and how excellent it is to have someone, who thinks you are special and wants to be with you.

Teenagers do not often talk about their feelings to all people else, except their close buddies. So, most of them need to soak up all the pain of their heartbreaks. It is disheartening when they carry all the baggage of high school breakups into adulthood. Individuals who can’t find the courage to allow their painful past go tend to have low self-esteem and find it hard to trust anyone who approaches them.

An instance of good peer pressure is exhibited by geeks, who push each other to earn excellent grades. Other groups that also have a positive impact on their members are the athletes. They work out collectively and try to be great on the pitch.

When it comes to studying, high school has the most rigorous process of learning than other stages. Students spend all day in classrooms, beginning in the morning and finishing in the evenings. They also have to cover a wide variety of topics that they will not pursue in the future.

Furthermore, students come upon stress from all quarters. They have to carry out at this stage or they’ll never make it to college. And they are reminded over and over again that if they do not get to college, then they’ll amount to nothing in life. At this point, everyone is working hard to secure their destiny. They make the scenario worse for them by figuring out which universities they need to go to and which majors they have to pursue. Most parents do not realize the issues their high school children go through.

They expect that the only thing they do in school is study, however, that isn’t the case. They have to grapple between education and the challenges they come across in school. The fact of the matter is that the limits of a high school facility mirror what life is like in the real world.
