Sir,

Please permit me to draw the attention of all and sundry through the respected columns of your newspaper in order to maintain peace and tranquility in the minds of all.

The ghastly murder of a youth by the members of another community is a heart-rending incident. It needs condemnation to the extent possible. We know that India is a secular country with a diversity of castes and religions but initially all are Indians. Our country is on the path of development. If we go on fighting over petty issues, our progress will hamper.

It is always in the interest of all that small riots should be done with away straightforwardly right in the nip of the bud. No use giving an incident a communal color. It is unworthy to pelt stones, jam the traffic and burn the vehicles. In a way, it is our national loss. Very soon such incidents take a very ugly turn and we often fail to realize the value of peace and love. We should adopt the motto live and Let Live.

So it is high time for all of us to maintain a congenial atmosphere and create harmony and follow feelings among all. We should not forge united we stand, divides we fall.
