Subject: Frequent Breakdown and Inadequate Supply of Electricity

Sir,

Please permit me to draw the attention of the concerned official through the columns of our paper about the frequent breakdown and power shortage of electricity in Bijli Apartments of MG Road, Perambalur.

Breakdowns of electricity have become a regular feature and it falls almost at the peak hours. Thus it causes a lot of inconvenience to the people. The residents have to pass several sleepless nights leaving the small babies in the most deplorable condition. The domestic ladies fail to finish their routine work. The school-going children are the worst suffers as they cannot study in the dark. Sometimes the electricity would fail when the shop-keepers are closing their shops or the office goes are returning back from their houses. It causes a lot of chaos, confusion, and inconvenience. The frequent breakdown provides a good opportunity to the robbers who have resorted to unprecedented thefts. The area lineman has been requested so many times but he shows his helplessness.

It will be appreciated if the power cut is got published in the newspaper, it will help the residents to make some alternative arrangement’s. If possible electricity up after 11.00 p.m. in the night will disturb less as no major activity is performed.

I hope you will publish my views in your esteemed paper so that the authorities may take the necessary steps to ensure the regular supply of electricity.

Yours faithfully,
Keshav
