It was a sunny day on April 12, I was very excited to visit my new school. I woke up early in the morning finished my routine task had a light breakfast. There was a lot of excitement as I packed my bag for the first day of school. I was waiting for the bus with my parents.on the way, I was thinking about my school, teachers and friends. 

Finally, I reached school. the principal took me to the class. my hands shook with nervousness as I entered the classroom. my parents comforted me. I met with my class teacher and classmates. We played together. Everything was amazing.

My first school experience was very different. I was very excited to go to my new school but I still remember. I was feeling a little scared but I also had to go to school, so I woke up in the morning and wore my new uniform. I took the bag on my shoulder which was new and was feeling very good. After that, my parents dropped me to school. As soon as I reached the gate I was very happy. Many children were going inside the gate but I saw that some children were crying a lot and some were looking happy.

A school is a place of learning. Here he forms new associations that comes in contact with boys of different temperaments and forms new ideas and habits. It is here that he prepares himself for the struggle of life.

I was put to school at the age of five. It was a primary school. The memory of my first day at school is still fresh in my mind. It was a small school with eight rooms. There were ten teachers including the physical instructor. The school had a compound with a grassy lawn and a few flower beds.

My father took me to the headmaster’s office and got me admitted to K.G.’s class. He gave me a packet of toffees for distribution among my class-masters.

My class teacher was a gentleman. He encouraged me and treated me kindly. It felt a bit nervous in a new environment. The boys looked at me with wonder and smiled. I had with me the EnglishPrimer ‘Akshar Mala’ and got my first lesson of alphabets.

The bell of the interval rang. The boy rushed out of their rooms. Some of them gathered around me. They laughed at me and made fun of me. Some of them sympathised with me and saved me from rowdy boys. Yet, I was nervous all the time.

I still remember very well my first day of school. It was after summer vacation in July. I was very happy to go to school for the first time. I was so excited that I could not sleep properly the whole night. I kept thinking about how my school would be, what kind of teachers would be there, what kind of students would be there, what kind of friends would I get. All these things were going on in my mind.

I got up early in the morning, took a bath, had breakfast and wore my new uniform. I still remember my new uniform colour which was Light Sky Blue and the lower part is white. I got my bag ready and kept my books, and my pencil box properly, I packed my lunch box and water bottle also.

I was very happy but was also a little nervous that something might happen and I might not like it there. But my parents told me that everything will be alright there.it is a good place for you. As we walked toward the entrance, I saw the school gate I jumped with joy because it looked very nice and the gate was huge.

The school was quite big and many children were going through the gate which I liked very much to see. Then I went to the principal’s office along with my parents. the principal asked me some questions and I replied very nicely. After that the principal took me to my class and there I met my class teacher. She seemed to be a very nice lady and her name was Mrs Seema. My class teacher introduced me to the children in the class.

My classroom was looking very nice. It was painted with vibrant colours and decorated with many arts. There were many colorful benches and the room was airy. After attending classes, I shared my lunch with classmates who later became my very good friends. during the free period, we also played together. Overall first day at school experience was awesome.

In the years since, I have had many first days, first days of new grades, first days at new schools, and first days at new jobs. But that very first day of school will always hold a special place in my heart as the day I took my first step into the wider world.

My first day at my school gave me beautiful memories that I will cherish forever.  Finally, the day came when I went to my school for the first time. The anticipation of meeting new friends made it hard to sleep the night before. the whole night I was only thinking about my school in the morning when I woke up I saw my parents were organising my bag. I smile to see my new bag and books. I was excited to start learning new things on my first day.

My parents said to me just go and worship God because it’s your first day of school. I prayed thank you God for giving me this opportunity I want to make my parents proud. My backpack was heavy with all new textbooks inside. I said bye to my parents and boarded the bus to reach school. my classroom was on the 2nd floor. I went to my classroom with my parents but  I was feeling a little nervous because there everything was new for me My parents consoled me and gave me a chocolate.

Then I entered into my class. I walk into the brightly Lit classroom and look for my Desk. The class teacher greeted us with a warm smile. I found my desk neatly and placed my books on it. The teacher asked us to tell our names. I introduced myself. and we went for the morning assembly, the entire school gathered in the auditorium.

I introduced myself to my classmates and we became friends quickly later my teacher explained the classroom rules to ensure everyone followed them. After attending the classes of math and science, the bell rang loudly and it was our lunch period I opened my lunch box and enjoyed the sandwich my mom packed.

Then the teacher gave us our first homework assignment on the first day of school. Music class was fun because we got to Sing new songs and during PE physical education we played saucer on the school field. there was a library too. The school library had a huge section of interesting books. At dismissal, we all hurried to catch the school bus home.

Finally, the day came to an end, that time I was full of mixed emotions. On one hand, I was tired from all the new experiences and eager to go home. My mother was waiting for me at the school gate, and as I ran to her, I couldn’t wait to tell her all about my day—about my class teacher, my new friends, and all the exciting things I had done.

On the way home, I chattered non-stop, recounting every detail of my first day. My parents listened with smiles on their faces, happy to see that I had enjoyed my day. By the time we reached home, I was exhausted, but my mind was buzzing with excitement for the days ahead.

Today, if I look back, my first day at school was a heartfelt moment in my life. It was the day that marked the beginning of my formal education, a day that opened the door to a world of knowledge, friendships, and personal growth. While I may have been nervous at first, the kindness of my teacher, the warmth of my classmates, and the support of my parents helped me transition smoothly into this new phase of life.
