Essay on a visit to a Fair in 200 to 250 words

India is a country of different types of fires. The village fairs take place very often because they part and parcel of rural life. They are celebrated either on the bank of the river or in an open place.

Last month, a fair was held in our village. The preparations for its celebrations were made a few days ago. A temporary bazaar was set up. The villagers from every nook and corner of nearby places came to participate in the fair. There was a spirit of joy in them.

The villagers ate, drank, and made merry. They sang dhola and such other songs. They danced in a wild manner at the beating of the drums. In some places, the jugglers showed their tricks and earned their living. The snake charmers were also seen there. They showed their snakes to the people and got money from the on-lookers.

The wrestling and the kabaddi matches were also held. They attracted a large number of villagers. The toy sellers had a good trade. The confectioners fled the customers. We took a round of the fair and returned home in the evening.

Thus, a village fair is a good meeting place for the villagers. There, they exchange their thoughts and views.
