Descriptive Essay on Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal needs no introduction. This structure is one of the world’s Seven Wonders of the World. It’s no surprise that people flock to fly every year to admire her beauty. The monument is located in India, in the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh. In other words, the Taj Mahal marks the beauty of Mughal architecture.

The Taj Mahal is one of the main reasons why India is famous. The Taj Mahal symbolizes India that many people link with it. For me, though, in addition to the magnificent buildings, the story behind it is most appealing. This fantastic beauty is as strong as a man’s love for his wife. More than that, it reminds us of the power of love and how it can set an example for future generations.

Taj Mahal – A Symbol of Love

The famous Taj Mahal was made alive in the opinion of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. After his death, he erected a monument to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

To honor the memory of his loving wife, Shah Jahan instructed the world’s leading artisans to build it. He wanted to do something that no one else had ever done. The lion wished to give his beloved wife the last gift.

So far, people are singing praises about Shah Jahan’s good deeds. It makes you believe in love and value it in a way you have never had before. We also see how the body of eternal loved ones lies beneath the grave. Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal were buried next to each other, and even after death, they remained united.

Making the Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal was declared a Heritage Site by UNSECO in 1983. What makes this memorial special? Why do people come from all walks of life to see its beauty? The Taj Mahal was constructed with white marble. Later, the marbles were shipped from various parts of the world.

Construction began in 1630, and it was finally completed in about 20 years. Shah Jahan rejected many projects before settling in the current Taj Mahal building. The walls of the monument are engraved with costly stones.

The Taj Mahal includes many intelligent structures. The four pillars standing in the corners were slightly tilted. This is done to prevent the monument from any natural disaster. Shah Jahan spent a lot of money on making the Taj Mahal.

In addition, we see that the construction of this facility required about 20,000 workers to complete the project. On the other hand, the design of the Taj Mahal is inspired by several architectural styles such as India, Turkey, Persia, and more.

In addition, there is a lovely fountain with water stations in front of the Taj Mahal. The Taj display in the water makes for a fantastic sight. It looks like a fairyland.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, all Indians are proud of the beauty of the Taj Mahal and its treasures. This monument is known the world over. The beauty and history of the memorial fascinate people and makes it world-famous.
