A cover letter is not a summary of your resume but if you think so then you are wrong. If a person is looking at resume after resume or cover letter after another cover letter then he will be annoyed seeing the same stuff again and again. A cover should be telling things that are not in your resume or why should they hire you.

I am writing to express my interest in the position of a nurse at your hospital. I have learned about the opportunity through a newspaper advertisement and believe that my skills, qualifications, and experience would be best for this position.

I have graduated from the Nursing School of Texas and have experience in providing care to patients on daily monitoring recording and approving of medical conditions of up to twenty-five patients per day, establishing therapeutic relationships on care plans with patients around determined aspects as an ICU nurse in the reputed Hospital.

My skills and experience in critical care, patient care plans, and relationships and collaborations and work with best practices in my profession of nursing and establishing new policies and procedures for the reputed and financially targeted families.

I am self-confident in assuming that my skills and experience in the challenging environment would develop your association and will benefit your organization.
