Sunita Hussain

Sunita Hussain is an accomplished and passionate English educator with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a PGT English teacher at Sapphire International School, Crossing Republik since April 2024, Sunita has built an exceptional portfolio in teaching and educational leadership. Prior to this, she dedicated a significant period as PGT English and Cultural Coordinator at Modern School, Noida (April 2013 - March 2024), where she was celebrated for her dynamic teaching methods and contributions to holistic student development. Sunita holds multiple degrees that underscore her academic prowess, including a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature from Delhi University, two Master’s degrees—one in English and another in Sociology—both completed with distinction, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication from YMCA Centre for Mass Media, New Delhi. She also completed a B.Ed from Meerut University. An adept leader and facilitator, Sunita has been actively involved in various management and training workshops, including those hosted by CBSE and the British Council. Her role as an International Activity Incharge for the ISA, British Council (2019–2022) at Modern School emphasized her ability to integrate international perspectives into the curriculum. She has also served as a panelist in educational discussions, organized youth parliaments, and has been recognized for her innovative use of TATA CLASSEDGE to enhance student engagement. Sunita's teaching style is marked by creative learning strategies, a patient and encouraging approach, and a talent for personalized instructional design. Beyond the classroom, she has made significant contributions as an editor, author, and poet, with works published in both national and international anthologies. She has been associated with several community-focused initiatives, earning accolades such as the Certificate of Appreciation from the Rotary Club, Noida, for her contributions to social outreach programs. Her extensive experience also includes work as a Head Examiner and Subject Matter Expert for CBSE English evaluations.
