Adjectives For Class 2

Adjectives are describing words that tell us more about nouns or pronouns.

Some common describing words.

Read the sentences.

1. Neha is a pretty girl.
   In this sentence, pretty tells us what kind of girl Neha is. It describes Neha.
2. Sahil takes a cup of hot tea.
   In this sentence hot tells us what kind of tea Sahil takes. It describes tea.
3. Pihu is a good student.
   Good describe Pihu as a student.
4. This is a huge building.
   The huge describes the building.
5. That is a red pencil.
   The red describes the pencil.

In the above sentences, Pihu, hot, good, building and pencil are describing nouns in the sentences.
